Cars are over-sized transportation vehicles that encourage lack of excercise and over-consumption of products. They hog road space, that we foot the bill for by the way as taxpayers, and they make absolutely no sense long term.
Yet now ‘we’ own the auto industry and ‘we’ are subsidizing old ways of thinking.

Now clearly – if you’ve lived within your means, paid off your credit cards, kept renting during this decade, and either stopped driving or own a fuel-efficient vehicle – well – f—- you! No government prizes in the five digits for you this year – because you are a bad consumer! What the HELL were you thinking? What the hell was I thinking?
Anyone got a little clunker they’ll slip me for a few bucks? I am really sick of missing out on all of the “I was a consumptive fool and now I get a reward” cash and bonuses.
